What is our Motto?

The Cornish Pride family is a very strong one and started small. Due to its success, the family is growing and is taking on more staff. Our company is built on the principles of delivering quality products and providing reliable service. Our diversified product range continues to grow by following trends, improving our standard products, and listening to the customer. Our unique service has established our place in this industry. This allows us to make a distinctive and substantial impact for our clients.

Where did the idea for Cornish Pride come from?

Jonathan moved over to Spain in 2002 from a small seaside town in North Cornwall. Having lived in the southwest all his life, he had grown accustomed to the delicious aromas that always greeted him on passing by the numerous pasty shops that were dotted around his home town. On arriving in Spain, it occured to him that he had never seen a pasty shop in the Costa Blanca. At first the idea of opening pasty shops was just a distant dream and he pondered over different ways of getting the business started. Having been a business man all his life, his understanding of the food industry grew quickly and he was soon visiting the different pasty shops in Cornwall to decide which he thought was the best. WC Rowe was, in his eyes, a clear leader. The quality of their products and their sheer professionalism made it clear to him that he had found his supplier. It was to his delight in January 2005 when the first Cornish Pride shop was opened in his new home village of Orba.  We now have 22 shops open and many more in the planning/building stage. The Cornish Pride name has since spread not only throughout the Costa Blanca but also down into the Costa del Sol and over to the Portugal borders.
